Since its inception in 1998, Hyundai Hope On Wheels has grown from a local initiative into a national effort, with Hyundai and its dealers—including Nucar Hyundai of Norwood—donating a portion of every vehicle sold to fight pediatric cancer. By 2024, this program will have contributed over $250 million toward pediatric cancer research, helping improve survival rates and care for children diagnosed with the disease.

A symbol of this fight is the Handprint Ceremony, where children battling cancer place their colorful handprints on Hyundai vehicles, symbolizing hope, courage, and their unique journeys. These handprints travel across the country, serving as a powerful reminder of the work that remains to be done.
