Fright Kingdom

The Fright Kingdom  is located at 12 Simon St., Nashua, New Hampshire. This place is New England’s largest indoor attraction. As you enter the haunted house, frightening photos and other entertaining things are on the midway to keep people busy even before they reach the main part of the building. Among the scariest sections in this haunted house are Apocalypse Z, Broodmare Manor, The Abandoned, Psycho Circus, and Monster Midway.

The Apocalypse Z attraction makes tourists behave in strange ways. You’ll enjoy features made with video, realism, and Hollywood special effects. As the story goes, Broodmare Manor is a 200-year-old building. It used to be home to the Broodmare family, a very mysterious family tainted by a sinister and cryptic past. The building has been abandoned for more than a century. People around the area suspect that there are individuals on the property though it seems void. Psycho Circus is a place filled with crazy clowns and custom illusions. The other attractions are very similar to the ones discussed above.

Factory of Terror

To those living in Fall River or even beyond, the Factory of Terror is a must-visit, especially for those who are bold. According to the rumors, this factory is where 113 workers were brutally murdered. The word is that this is the bloody spot where the spirits of those people still roam. The three-time Guinness World Record holder has very peculiar creatures, special effects, and horrific actors who entertain patrons as they wait to gain entry to the attraction.

As you walk through the building, you will find the following dreadful attractions: 1300 Lost Souls, Industrial Nightmare, Lafayette 13, and Massacre on Mahoning. Before having to visit these places, tourists can have the chance to buy some refreshments. During the halfway touring, patrons can visit the “French Quarter at the Factory,” where guests can have a break before being transported to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter in New Orleans. You can visit The Scare Shop, a walk-through gift shop, as you exit the site.

Fear Town

Fear Town is a massive outdoor attraction found deep in the woods in Seekonk, which is near Providence in Massachusetts. As you try to find your way through the woods, you surely won’t forget the feeling of being trapped as you walk among the monsters and skeletons on the trail. There are several attractions in this place. One is the Haunted House, voted as the scariest haunted house in Massachusetts. There’s also one called the Witch Hunt, which gives guests the accused versus accuser experience of hunting for a witch. Another fun but dangerous activity is axe-throwing where visitors learn how to throw axes. Finally, there are the Carnival games, which have a terrific twist. The haunted house also offers more dangerous activities through the crematory visitation and includes creepy roles played by experienced actors.

Barret’s Haunted Mansion

Barrett’s Haunted Mansion is located in Abington, Massachusetts. Some of the main features of this location include the haunted mansion and the Condemned. The Condemned is a venue with no roof. To get out of it, one must go through the entire tour. The place is full of screams and shouts, and crowns and blood surround guests at this attraction. It can be frightening, especially with the actors along the pathways. They make the tour interesting, and everything feels like a nightmare. All of them dress in different costumes and make-up.

The interesting thing about this mansion is that the themes are different because the house keeps changing. For instance, haunted asylum and creepy clown were 2021 themes, but the two experiences weren’t there the previous year. This haunted house has plenty of brown weathered siding, wooden boards attached across the windows, and a wrought iron gate with the name “Barrett’s” engraved above it.

Ghost Ship Harbor

Imagine having a haunted house on a navy ship rather than on land. Wouldn’t that be interesting? Located in Quincy is one of the scariest haunted houses around. Matthew DiRoberto is responsible for creating a haunted house on a boat. The venue offers Contagion as a feature where someone performs an examination on those trying to flee. There is also the Plague, an attraction where chaos breaks loose when the ship’s crew detects a virus onboard. The Paranormal View is another attraction, which offers ghostly activities and allows the passengers to become ghost hunters. Lastly, there is the Fear No Evil feature.

This site also offers gruesome food villages and chilling scare zones. Actors with petrifying costumes and make-up also play a part in making the whole adventure very scary.

Witch’s Woods

If you’re looking for another place to go for Halloween, consider visiting the Witch’s Woods of Nashoba Valley Ski Area. As you enter the woods, at least two witches are roaming around the forest awaiting your arrival. They mainly watch over the trees and guests. As you go deeper into the woods, you will hear the sounds of wolves howling at the moon. Be careful they don’t trap you because the smell of human flesh attracts these beasts. You can find terrifying zombies wandering the grounds. Spirits of dead lumberjacks find their way into the woods, tormenting the place and its guests. Dark creatures keep everyone company as they visit the site.
