If you’d like to test-drive one of them, don’t hesitate to contact us today.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

At the top of the list is the Ioniq 5, an all-electric SUV that races from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. This five-seater crossover benefits from the immediate torque provided by an electric motor to beat all the other lineup Hyundai vehicles for acceleration.

The Ioniq 5 is available in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations. The rear-wheel-drive model has a single electric motor putting out 225 horsepower, while two engines combine to generate 320 horsepower if you opt for all-wheel drive. Most Ioniq 5s have a driving range between 269 and 300 miles, depending on whether you choose an AWD or RWD model.

Inside the cabin, the Ioniq 5 boasts adult-friendly seating in both rows and over 27 cubic feet of storage at the rear. Its infotainment system includes a sizeable 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a six-speaker stereo.

Hyundai Sonata N-Line

The Sonata N-Line is slightly slower than the Ioniq 5, achieving the sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds. The N-Line trim is one of the options available with this mid-sized sedan, which also includes a hybrid model and a configuration with a smaller engine.

A 290-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder unit powers the N-Line. Other engine options include a 191-horsepower four-cylinder and a 180-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder. The latter two engines are great for day-to-day driving, but they’ll slow your acceleration from 0 to 60 mph compared to the 290-horsepower unit.

The Sonata can accommodate four adults across its two rows. Equipment for installing child seats is also provided. The Sonata’s trunk has over 16 cubic feet of space, and there’s a split folding rear seat in case you need to create more room for cargo.

Hyundai Elantra N

There’s not much difference in pace between the Sonata and its smaller cousin, the compact Elantra sedan. The Elantra N can shift from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. It’s a great choice if you want a quick off-the-line vehicle and don’t require the extra space provided by the Sonata.

The Elantra N boasts a powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood that churns out 270 horsepower. There’s also an N-Line model with a smaller turbocharged unit capable of putting out 201 horsepower. The Elantra N-Line makes it from 0 to 60 mph in a respectable 7.1 seconds. Finally, the standard Elantra engine is a 147-horsepower four-cylinder unit, ideal for getting around town or letting you along during your daily commute.

Inside, the Elantra has a trunk measuring 14 cubic feet for your groceries or a couple of suitcases. There’s slightly less room in the rear row of seats than in the Sonata, but it’s still adequate for adults to travel on short trips. Kids will find the space more than adequate.

Hyundai Santa Fe

If you require a little more space in the cabin, the Santa Fe may be the right option for you. This crossover is relatively quick off the line, managing 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

To get the best acceleration with the Santa Fe, you’ll need to opt for the 281-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The base engine is well-equipped to deal with your daily driving needs, boasting an output of 191 horsepower. The Santa Fe has substantial gas mileage, achieving 28 mpg on the highway with the larger turbocharged engine. A hybrid configuration is also on offer.

Inside the cabin, the Santa Fe offers plenty of space for a family or group of friends to travel. You’ll have over 36 cubic feet of storage at the rear when both row seats are in use.

Hyundai Kona

The Hyundai Kona provides many of the benefits of an SUV, while it’s more compact than the Santa Fe. It can accelerate swiftly, reaching 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds.

There are two engine options for you to choose from. The best option for acceleration is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that puts out 195 horsepower. This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Alternatively, the base 2.5-liter engine will do the job if you prioritize fuel economy. It can generate 147 horsepower and works in tandem with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In the cabin, the front seats are ideal for adults, while the second row is best left for kids. You’ll get a little over 19 cubic feet of storage at the rear, which is more than enough for a large load of groceries or luggage for a weekend trip.

Hyundai Santa Cruz

You may not have expected to find a truck on the list of Hyundai vehicles with the best acceleration. However, the compact Santa Cruz pickup can get from 0 to 60 mph just as quickly as the compact Kona crossover in 6.3 seconds.

The Santa Cruz’s more potent engine option is a turbocharged four-cylinder with 281 horsepower, which is the best choice for rapid acceleration. The base 191-horsepower unit will cope fine if you only plan to haul or tow lighter loads.

Inside, the Santa Cruz has a four-foot-long cargo bed for transporting your items. The cabin features two rows of seats for up to five people to relax comfortably.
